Shipping policy

DELIVERY

Delivery charges:  Free delivery for orders over R1000. For orders below R1000 there is a standard delivery charge of R65 anywhere in South Africa.

Standard delivery time on available products after order is confirmed and payment is received is  5-10 working days excluding weekends and public holidays.

We endeavour to meet the best and fastest delivery time always. Please appreciate that events beyond our control could cause a delay. We thank you for your understanding.

We cannot guarantee the exact delivery time on the day of delivery.

Courier companies do not deliver to P.O.BOX address, so we request you to provide full street address with correct postal code / zip code. Kindly make sure that someone is there to receive the package when courier delivery is attempted.  

In the event that a non-delivery occurs on account of incorrect information provided by you (i.e. wrong name or address or any other wrong information) any extra cost incurred by Modern4U for redelivery shall be claimed from you

 

In the event of a reshipment of the same order,(e.g.wrong size ordered) customers will be responsible to pay re-shipping charges for the reshipment. 

Please note that there are no deliveries made from the store on Saturdays Sundays and public holidays as our logistics partner, does not make any pick-ups on those days.

Be alert when accepting parcel from courier:

If the outer packing is damaged or tempered with, verify the items with the invoice before accepting the package from the courier company.

We recommend checking the contents against the invoice before accepting and signing for the delivery. Any discrepancy must be noted on the waybill and  a notification must be sent to Modern4U via email within 48 hours

 

COLLECTION OF ORDERED GOODS

You must inform Modern4U if you prefer to collect your ordered goods from one of our stores. The collection date and the store you wish to collect from  must be confirmed at least two working days before you intend to collect the goods ("working days" means weekdays: Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
